We wish to highlight that the monthly Church Prayer Meeting is tomorrow evening, starting at 7:30pm.
It is Governing Council and Church Leadership’s desire for Marion Church of Christ to be a praying Church.
A praying Church is one that prays without ceasing.
A praying Church is devoted to prayer.
A praying Church not only prays for its own needs, but for those of the community.
Tomorrow night is another opportunity to be part of a praying Church.
This is an important aspect of Church life, corporate prayer is mentioned in Acts Chapters 1, 4, 6, 12, 13 and 16 to list just a few!
Everyone is encouraged to come, it is not just for GC or Ministry Team or those in leadership, it is for everyone!
In this, our Year of Growth, come and be part of a growing group of praying people, and let’s see the power of answered prayer in this place and in our community.
“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
To our God and Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen”. - Philippians 4:19-20
“We all want the best for our kids. What if I told you there was a well researched program that could change your kids life. It can increase the average life-expectancy of your children by 8 years. Reduce the child's use and risk of alcohol, drugs and tobacco. It can dramatically lower the risk of suicide and help rebound from depression 70% faster. It will reduce the risk for committing a crime. Provide them with a life-long moral compass and provide children with a caring extended family. Interested? Well, according to Barna Research Group the program is called "Active Church Participation". Many people think church is irrelevant and boring, but many churches are thriving and many lives are being impacted. Maybe it's time you got involved in a healthy Bible based church. And instead just being a spectator, maybe it's time to be a participator.” Matt Prater
Come along this Thursday to Friendship Club and Indoor Bowls. It's going to be a great afternoon of fun, laughter and conversation.
1.30pm - 3.00pm.
There has been an old upright piano in the lounge for many years and as space is becoming more and more important, it is time now to remove.
Do you, or do you know of anyone that may have information of ownership for the piano?
We have a very generous offer to replace the piano with a smaller keyboard so that music can still be played in the lounge.
We will be removing the piano in two weeks, if anyone would like to assist with either information or removal of piano, please contact the Church office as soon as possible. Thank you.
