Vision Sunday launched our Year of Growth for 2019 and the celebrations of inducting Mark Selke our Growth Youth Pastor and Stephen Scott our Growth Young Adults Pastor, and celebrating the many successes and services of MarionLIFE from Leighton Boyd and from Sonya regarding our Growth for Kids@Marion and Worship.Psalm 100 says:
“Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
Worship the Lord with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
Know that the Lord is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his[a];
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.” (NIV)
We finished up after the 10am service with a wonderful lunch after the service together.

The power of praying together with other people—in small groups or in larger bodies of people—is deeply valued at MCC.
Our monthly Nights of Prayer are a wonderful time to seek God together for our church, community and beyond.
We would like to invite you to join with us at our next prayer night held in the lounge on the 2nd Wednesday of the Month at 7.30pm.
Come along this week : Wed 13 February. We'd love to pray with you.
Matthew 7:7 (NIV)
7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”
It was wonderful to share together in praise and worship last Sunday again and we are so thankful that we have the freedom to do so. Praise God!
We took the opportunity to acknowledge the retirement of Phil Lanyon and the handing over of the leadership of Good Gear. Gwen Fisher has, for over 32 years, lead her wonderful team of volunteers in the Good Gear Shop, with marvelous success. This year Gwen hands over the baton to Corinne Simpson to learn the ropes, but not to retire just yet! Gwen, a recipient of an OA in her time at GG for her service to the community, will continue on until she is ready to reduce her hours and ‘take it a bit easy’. Please continue to encourage both Gwen, Corinne and all the volunteers who diligently and lovingly serve in this wonderful ministry. Thank you for continuing to support the shop with your patronage, quality donations of goods, and prayers!
Open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
