National Day of Thanks Focus 2018

Thanking God . . . thanking each other, is about being thankful. First to God for the Nation we live in and the blessings and freedoms we enjoy. And then to each other – thanking those who have made a difference in our lives and the life of our community.

For the Community Focus this year we are Thanking:

People who contribute in a positive way to the vibrant cultural tapestry of Australia.

People in organisations that work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders.

People who help newcomers to Australia connect into their local communities.

People from different cultural backgrounds who make a meaningful contribution to cohesion in their communities.

People who work in Schools across our Nation.

Public and Private schools including High Schools, Primary Schools, Kindergartens, Pre-Schools and Day Care Centres.

Principals, Teachers, Teachers Aids, Chaplains, Administration Staff, Volunteers, Cleaners and Maintenance staff, etc.
