Thank you to Naomi Beames CoC SA & NT for coming and sharing the Word at our 10am service last Sunday.
Naomi is involved with helping churches with finance, governance, insurance, support churches into the future, seeing what God’s plans are and where He is working in our churches.
Naomi spoke the Word on John 6 25-36
Jesus said I am the bread of life
Bread in biblical times was of vital importance to peoples lives.
What does it mean? I am the bread of life.
Jesus wanted to lift their vision - there is spiritual bread you cannot live without in your day to day.
The process to make a loaf of bread and onto the table was a long process.
This process is what Jesus had to go through too for us on the cross.
Do we feel hungry again? Jesus wants to meet our need. Spiritual joy, peace and comfort.
‘Comes’ Keep coming to Jesus to feed us day in and day out.
How do we seek Jesus each day - or what is stopping us.
His love makes us worthy to come to Him.
Let’s feed on Jesus to fill our time, bodies and mind daily. Satisfying your soul.
Connect in on You Tube to feed on the Word that Naomi brought to us.
Blessings,
Church Office Team
Pastor Stephen unpacked the Word in the new sermon series on BLESS ... Begin with Prayer
Be in prayer to see God bless people in their lives
Luke 6:12-16 The Twelve Apostles
12 One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God. 13 When morning came, he called his disciples to him and chose twelve of them, whom he also designated apostles: 14 Simon (whom he named Peter), his brother Andrew, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, 15 Matthew, Thomas, James son of Alphaeus, Simon who was called the Zealot, 16 Judas son of James, and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor.
- Jesus pursued God in prayer
- Jesus paused to pray
- Jesus had a place to pray
- Jesus gave priority to prayer
- Jesus had people he prayed for
- Jesus had a purpose in prayer

The house, our job, our relationships

The solid foundation in our lives.

The Call of Abram
12 The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.
2
“I will make you into a great nation,
and I will bless you;
I will make your name great,
and you will be a blessing.a]
3
I will bless those who bless you,
and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth
will be blessed through you.”b]
God’s plan is to work His plan through His people
