Here's the FW for this week.
Have you connected with our online church services? All the steps are in the FW.
This weekend we take time to give thanks to Mums all around the world and in our homes.
We are very much looking forward to the time when we can gather together but until then, please stay in touch with one another - keep connected by giving someone a call to say hello, writing a letter or email, text or waving from a distance.
It's certainly been a time to be creative in ways to say 'HELLO'.
We'd love to hear from you ways that you've been able to say hello to your family, friends, neighbours, work colleageus and church family.
Have you tried ZOOM or other online methods. Have you sent a letter. Have you dropped something into someone's letterbox.
Have your children or grandchildren done some baking or a drawing for you, or face-timed you on your phone or device.
Have you connected in with our online services on Sundays https://marionchurchofchrist.online.church or Youtube Marion Church of Christ, or DVD/FW drop-off.
Do you know of anyone who is not connected in.
Send us an email email@example.com or a message via this APP or www.marioncc.org.au and touch base with us - we'd love to hear from YOU!
Let's be creative and stay in touch with one another as a church family :)
Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.
Hello and welcome to our Friendly Word Newsletter for this week.
The Easter services that Marion Church of Christ participated are online and available for viewing on YouTube. It's an exciting, learning and growing space for us to be in - we thank God for the resources, people and gifts that are being made open to us through Him.
If you know of someone who would like to connect in with the Friendly Word, please let the Church Office know via a message on this APP or website.
Hello to you all,
What a week it has been. Full of new and interesting challenges with technology, doing work and school from home, following the news and the devastation that COVID-19 has let on our world, gathering in different ways to pray and connect with one another - even with the Friendly Word.
In the midst of things we don't understand at this time—things that leave our hearts broken and questioning... God's faithfulness is present and His promise at Easter, through the risen Saviour gives us infinite hope for our heart and soul.
All of God's promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding "Yes!" II Corinthians 1:20 NLT
We would love for you to spread the word over the next few days that we are doing our Easter Services online with your families and friends - right across the globe.
Please join in with us – from the comfort of your home to a warm and welcoming time with Marion Church of Christ Online.

Dear Church Family,
It is so nice to write to you today and say HELLO :)
What a busy week its been! Doing things differently. Connecting with people in different ways. Finding new ways to do things. Learning something new.
We'd like to let you know that the team at Marion Church of Christ have been active and busy but in different ways.
Please know that although the Church Office is not open during this period, we are still working from home and the office is attended at various times to collect information etc. We are monitoring our phones, so please do not hesitate to ring and leave a message, we will get back to you as soon as possible. We are also receiving regular post and emails, thank you for staying in touch.
The Friendly Word is still being put together faithfully and we would encourage you to read it and keep informed.
Have you phoned someone today to say hello, sent an email or a text or even Skyped, Zoomed, or Facetimed? Even though we can’t gather together, we can still connect with one another in different ways.
We really wish to encourage us all to keep in contact with each other. It has never been so important how we each consider how we might connect with our church, not the building but the people, other believers. We need to check in on each other, send a text, make a phone call, send a meaningful email, share a Bible Text, ask them how you can pray for them, encourage them. We also each need to make a conscious effort not to yield to temptation, but be proactive and fill our hearts and minds with Gods Word in whatever avenue we can, with whoever and however we can. If you require contact information or if your own info has changed, please leave a message at the office and we will arrange, with individuals permission, or update as neeeded.
A lot of us are giving online and so that can continue as usual, however there are those that are regular cash givers. We will be endeavoring to provide a temporary locked box that can be 'posted' to via the letter box slot at the front of our church building. If you have the means to give electronically we would encourage you to avail of this option, if you would like help to have that set up, please let the Church Office know and we can help you with that. Alternatively you may wish to use a cheque, which can also be posted or delivered as you wish.
If you are not able to utilise these options, then we would encourage you to contact your pastoral carer who may be able to call past and collect it for you, or if unsure, please do ring the Church Office.
God Bless You
The Church Office
