Marion Church of Christ will conduct an accredited Safe Environments training helping our organisation to:
· support our staff and volunteers to recognise, report and respond to children or young people who may be at risk of harm, and
· build our capacity to provide child safe environments.
If you are volunteering or working in spaces where you’ll be in contact with children or teenagers you may be due to update with a Refresher course.
People who haven’t done this training before and are new to this area, will need to complete a Full Day course.
Marion Church of Christ Training is an approved provider of Safe Environments for Children and Young People - 'Through Their Eyes' with Pastor Sonya Bertram an accredited facilitator.
If you are due for renewal:
Sunday 18 February Refresher 12noon - 2.30pm
If you are new to this training: are starting or considering work, or volunteering, in a workspace with children, you will need to complete the full day course
Saturday 24 February Full Day 9.30am - 4.00pm

Sunday, 1 October 2023, 2:00:00 am clocks are turned forward 1 hour to
Sunday, 1 October 2023, 3:00:00 am local daylight time instead.
Sunrise and sunset will be about 1 hour later on 1 Oct 2023 than the day before. There will be more light in the evening.
Check your clocks for church on Sunday morning - See you there!
August is set aside as a specific time when we pause and reflect on God’s goodness and provision. He is a loving and generous God and it is out of His blessings that we have the opportunity to respond generously. This special thank offering is one that is over and above our usual offering—it is one that will help cover MCC costs, but it is more that that. This is an offering of hope, an offering towards growth, and all for the continued glory of our God.
Each one of us is invited to take some time with our Lord to specifically share what / how we are thankful to Him. We can come before Him with joyful gratitude and make time to intentionally share our heart. Let’s invite Him to remind us of His blessings, and to show us how He would have us respond.

It's a reflective Easter gift to share the message of hope, joy, peace and love that God brings into our lives each and every day.
