What a great Sunday of the Long Weekend we had.
If you were away, we encourage you to connect in with the Praise and Worship, Janet's words around Communion and Ashley's sermon on being a Passionate Disciple of Jesus.
Lots of people stayed on for a cuppa and a chat - how good to hear the happy buzz of connecting together as a church family and welcoming new folk to stay.

Hi Everyone,
I hope you are all well.
This Friday we are playing Games Night, Tug of War, sack race, wheel borrow competition, and piggyback race.
We are starting earlier at 6 pm and finish at 8 pm.
We are cooking dinner BBQ for the kids and we are opening it to the Marion Life Youth as an "option" for them to join in.
This is a great way for the kids to meet other kids around the area and also to show and share the love of God and care for others around.
Please don't feed your kids, we will have plenty of food to share for the night and snacks after.
You will see us cooking BBQ in the car park area. We will start serving dinner at 6 pm and finish at 8 pm.
Please feel free to contact me or email if you have any questions or prayers.
Thank you
Kind regards,
Stephen

Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.”
As a church one of our core values is connecting with God through prayer and worship.
With your church family, we gather together to lift up needs in the church and around the world, believing God is going to move in mighty ways.
Join us for Prayer Nights for 2024 directly after Cafe Church on 3rd Sunday of the Month - NEXT one is 17th March as we pray with faith that the Lord will help us in every area of our lives! Reach out to us, if you are unable to make it onsite and would like the link to the Zoom connection.
God Bless, see you there!
That's right folks. On the March Long Weekend (Public Holiday on Monday 11th March) many of our folks have headed away.
So we will have a special combined 10am service Sunday 10th March that you can attend inperson and online. Cafe Church will return on Sunday 17th March.
Join in the service with your kids, with the Lounge being available for parents of young ones as normal with the service 'Live Streamed'.
Genesis 2:3

If you weren't able to be here on Sunday, we had a fabulous morning with the baptisms of Sophie and Kay, so connect in with our You Tube channel and connect in with the service.
Baptism, Peter clarifies, is a response to God flowing from a conscience that has already been cleansed by the Holy Spirit through faith. Just as Jesus proclaimed His triumph over sin and death through His own suffering and death on the cross, believers proclaim their triumph over sin and death through water baptism.
1 Peter 3:21 New International Version
21 and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
